Gage and his brother Tommy lost their parents at a young age. Gage, now a young man who was

Gage has to raise his autistic brother and care for him as he is all he has for family.
Gage is showing dangerous warning signs of deep inflicting anger that has spilled over into
other areas of his life. These undesirable but understandable emotions of inflicting anger catch up with Gage -- just as he's trying to put his life together as an early 20's somebody. Under strain he must come to grips with his anger when it threatens to jeopardize the most important relationship he's had thus far. Don Burnett (Crew) Executive Producer

Don's stint on student stages began at age 8 as did Bryan's...interestingly enough, Don's first role as Joseph, was in the same story, different character. After his debut and throughout high school he performed wherever he found a stage in such typical productions as "Hansel and Gretel", "Romeo and Juliet", "A Christmas Carol", "The Wizard of Oz", "Arsenic And Old Lace", sometimes writing and promoting plays to star in.

With regret, when he graduated from high school, he left the stage for university eventually obtaining a BA, MA and PhD. He then began a career in education which included being a teacher, principal [received Regional Principal of the Year at the National Press Club in DC], professor of foreign language in Brazil and China and finally Educational Consultant to the Episcopal Bishop of the Diocese of Rio de Janeiro, later involving himself in the establishment of a school for street children [boys and girls] in downtown Rio de Janeiro which had among its many benefactors Diana, Princess of Wales. During twenty of those years he also wrote a weekly syndicated arts and entertainment column.

When the education phase drew to an end in 2008, he continued entertainment journalism and began a new career as a filmmaker.

His first film, "It's In The Genes" which he produced/co-directed/cast traveled the festival circuit picking up two awards and bestowing on him the never to be taken away title of "two time award winning filmmaker"  No, it's not just as good to be nominated.

Encouraged by this phenomenal bit of luck, he made his second film, "Candy For Kali" and is involved currently, primarily as some form of producer, with a number of films [shorts, documentaries, features] in pre-production, currently being shot, in post-production and several that have been completed and submitted to Sundance 2013 and similar festivals.

Current projects include "Figments of a Father", "The O'Brien's, Washed", "You Will Love Me", "A Day Without Alex", "Rubber Duckie", "The Holy ", "Bread and Butter", "Dance Like No One's Watching", "The Snatcher", "Climbing With Pride", Malevolent", "Not Broken Not Alone", "Because I Like It", "X Confident", "Lessons In The Dark Trilogy" and three additional projects in negotiation.

Don is thrilled to be involved with "To Inflict"!

Steven "Lec Zorn" McAtee - (Crew) Consultant

Lec Zorn is a versatile Indianapolis based actor with 13 on screen appearances – five features, six shorts, a TV pilot, and a web series. Born on December 14, 1970 in the small Ohio River town of Madison, Indiana, he seemed destined to be a musician; a long tradition on both sides of his family. For about 30 years, music was a focal point of his life, culminating with the release of a critically acclaimed melodic rock album in 2007.

But his focus began to shift from music to film in the late Summer and early Autumn of 2005.

Lec quickly began attempting to write screenplays, which led to him feeling the urge to act as well. Since 2009, he’s pursued over 100 roles throughout the Midwest and, despite having never taken acting lessons, his roles have steadily become larger and more frequent.

He’s even in two upcoming Hollywood features that were filmed in the region, both comedies. He plays a bank officer in “Creeporia,” a live action movie written and directed by cartoon legend John Semper (“Fraggle Rock,” “Clifford the Big Red Dog”), and a Jehovah’s Witness in “Healing the Stupid,” starring Kelly Thibaud (“General Hospital,” “Hostel Part III”).

Lec hasn’t abandoned music but has it on the back-burner, at least for now. “Music was a very special part of my life for well over a quarter a century,” he said “but I’ve discovered that film is a much better outlet for me to express my deepest joys and sorrows. In fact, I think it’s the ultimate form of expression. “Most if not all of the emotions that I’m called to express are emotions that I’ve experienced before. The key to it is bringing those emotions to the forefront of my mind at the right time.”

Now, with “To Inflict,” Lec takes a short break from acting to serve the movie as a consultant. Last year, at the age of 40, he was diagnosed with the autism spectrum disorder of Asperger Syndrome, about six months after his son, Liam, was diagnosed with the same condition. Others who have publicly revealed having AS include Oscar nominated actor Dan Aykroyd, new wave musician Gary Numan, and 2011 #4 “American Idol” finalist James Durbin.

Lec views his consulting position as an opportunity to increase awareness of autism. “When I learned that Liam had AS,” he remembers, “I was very distraught, and soon realized that was only because I was very ignorant about his condition. I learned a lot about it very quickly and that of course helped me a lot when I learned that I have the same condition. And with both Liam and me, I never even considered not being completely open about it. Communication breeds understanding while silence perpetuates ignorance.

“People need to understand that autism isn’t retardation, it’s not a mental illness, and people who have it are in no way out of touch with reality. It’s simply a different method of brain functioning that requires different nurturing, just like a car that runs on a special type of gasoline. When an autistic person is poorly adjusted, it’s not because of autism per se but rather because the person didn’t get the right nurturing for his/her condition.

“My goal is not to obtain sympathy for autistic people but rather understanding of us, and celebration of our accomplishments. Many of us are loving spouses, parents, children, and friends who contribute greatly to society.”

In the course of his consultation, Lec has particularly worked closely with Eric Warrington, who plays the autistic character of Tommy. “When I talked with Eric,” remembers Lec, “I picked out very quickly that he takes role preparation as seriously as I do. He asked me some great questions and listened intently to all of the vast information that I gave him. I have no doubt that he’ll give his maximum effort to play his role with the utmost accuracy, respect and sensitivity.”

After “To Inflict,” Lec plans to continue pre-production for his screenwriting debut,” 80s Metal Star,” a hard hitting drama about a fallen 80s metal star trying to confront his personal and professional failures and find the things that matter most. He has also committed to acting in two features and one short.
